Returning & Refunds
We offer a 7-day return policy, meaning you have 7 days from the date your order is delivered to initiate a return through our return portal.
This limited return window allows us to uphold the quality and integrity of our products and ensure every customer receives their Hello Updo items in pristine condition.
To be eligible for a return, your return request must be submitted within 7 days of delivery, and your item(s) must be returned in new, unused, unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and undamaged condition, free of hair, odors, or signs of wear, with all original packaging and tags attached.
Because Hello Updo products are personal hair care accessories, all returned items are carefully inspected upon receipt. Returns that show signs of wear, use, hair, odors, damage, or otherwise do not meet our return requirements may be declined and returned to the sender.
Please allow 1–3 business days for us to inspect and process your return once it has been received.
A $5.00 return shipping fee will be deducted from refunds. If you purchased Unlimited Returns at checkout, this fee will be waived. Please note that Unlimited Returns covers return shipping only and does not apply to packages that are lost, stolen, delayed, or misdelivered by the shipping carrier.
Hello Updo reserves the right to deny any return request submitted more than 7 days after delivery or any return that does not meet our eligibility requirements.
Once an order has been shipped, Hello Updo is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, delayed, or misdelivered by the shipping carrier. If your package is affected, we recommend contacting the carrier directly to file a claim.

Direct Refund
Refunds are issued to your original payment method once your return has been inspected and approved.
Please note:
- A $5.00 return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund (unless Unlimited Returns was purchased at checkout).
- Please allow 7–21 business days for your financial institution to process and post the refund to your original form of payment.

Additional Return Information
Damages
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or you received the wrong product, please submit the the claim within 7 days from delivery via our exchange portal so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions & Non-Returnable Items
We are unable to accept returns on:
- Used or worn items
- Sale items
- Gift cards
- Collaboration bundles
Orders containing any of the above are considered final sale.

Final Sale Policy
Items marked Final Sale cannot be returned or exchanged and are not eligible for price adjustments, even if they are further discounted after purchase.

Sale items cannot be returned or exchanged and are not eligible for refunds or store credit.
